Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visits India

On 13-14 September, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited India. He traveled to Gujarat to lay the foundation stones for the Ahmadabad-Mumbai bullet train. The signed 15 agreements for cooperation in various sectors, including civil aviation, trade and science and technology. They held talks on several bilateral, regional and international issues and a zero tolerance policy for terrorism. They agreed on committing themselves towards ensuring a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific region where sovereignty and international laws are upheld.
