On 11 March, India will host the first International Solar Alliance (ISA) summit.
This Summit will be co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event will be attended United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Bangladesh’s President Abdul Hamid and other heads of stats.
Around 500 delegates from all over the world are expected to participate in the conference including around 30 Heads of State or Government.
Efforts are under way to put together 121 projects, which can be signed in two phases — about 50 on 11 March and another 71 on 2o April.
