German Chancellor Angela Merkel is set to arrive in India from 4-6 October for a three day visit.

The visit will see the signing of several trade agreements which will strengthen trade cooperation between India and Germany.

While in Delhi, Merkel will hold bilateral meetings with Narendra Modi and several others. She will then travel to Bangalore where she and Modi will attend an event organised by NASSCOM for Indian tech startups.

It is speculated that discussions may also be held on the stalled India-EU Free Trade Agreement.
