On 3 July, 2017, Rajiv Bhatia, Distinguished Fellow, Foreign Policy Studies, Gateway house, was the Chair of the Inaugural Session of the International Conference on “Emerging Horizons in India-Vietnam Relations”.
His remarks focused on the history and development of India-Vietnam relations over the years. He contextualised Indo-Vietnamese relations in the current, rapidly shifting geopolitical relations between countries like the U.S., China, Japan and India.
